From this site you can download ebooks on the shareware try-before-you buy principle. Each ebook allows you to read approximately 20% of the book for free. If you like the book, you can pay the registration fee online to allow you to read the rest of the book. You have nothing to lose by downloading a book. If you do not like it, you pay nothing. Even if you decide not to pay for the book, you have gotten the first 20% or so free.

When you download the ebook, you get the exclusive Leithauser Research ebook reader. This reader has many nice features, such as multiple bookmakers and the ability to print or copy and paste selected sections of the book. The same reader is used for all the ebooks, so even if you do not like one particular ebook, you can keep the reader on your desktop for other ebooks.

Some of the books on this site are public domain books that you can purchase elsewhere. These are generally classics like Alice in Wonderland. Others are proprietary ebooks that that you might not be able to find elsewhere. These are published by Leithauser Research Shareware Ebooks under contract with the author.
